2026 Focus on Iowa Photo Contest

You may enter up to 8 images.

We require your contact information and caption details with each photo entered.

This contest is open to anyone—no purchase or subscription necessary.

All digital images must be high-resolution. Files under 1MB will not be considered.

Our staff will select six finalists for each of the four categories, based on the quality of the photos and how well they depict life in Iowa.

Readers will vote to determine each category winner as well as the Grand Prize winner. 

Your photos will also be considered for use elsewhere in Our Iowa, so even if you aren't a finalist, you may still "get published".
