With today's postage and mailing costs, sending multiple subscription renewal notices is very costly. Avoiding those extra reminders helps keep our subscription low. So, we only mail two renewal notices. 

If you respond to your first renewal notice within 10 days, you will be entered into a drawing to win a freezer full of pork! We partner with the Iowa Pork Producers to offer this fun contest. 

In our holiday issue each year we start a Christmas story--written in such a way that it could have all kinds of surprise endings. Then, we ask readers to finish the story in 300 words or less. Our editorial staff carefully studies the entries and choose the top three to publish in the following issue. The authors of those stories, along with getting published, also win exciting prizes!
